My hair is relaxed and I'm thinking about going natural and I don't want to lose the length that I have. What can you suggest that I do so I don't lose my length?

If you have a little bit of new growth (1"-4") then you can do the straw set, which can get you use to the idea of having tightly coiled hair. Even though most of us have a tighter curl then the curl the staw set produces. Then after your hair is longer than four inches I would suggest you start looking into braids or twist. The choice is up to you if you want to add additional hair. I do suggest you look into using additional hair so you won't have to worry about messing with your hair often. Every time you do over your straw set, braids or twist you can cut off a 1/2 inch or 1" of the relaxed hair, until you have a full head of natural hair.

I've been wearing my hair natural for about three years and I'm looking into getting locs, but I want to see how I would look with locs without starting the process. Would you suggest loc extensions?

I suggest people getting loc extension if they are going to keep it in permanently. Loc extensions can be costly and it's not a easy process to remove loc extensions. What you can try is the nu-locs, which is basically your hair is braided with yarn. Nu-Locs are the closetest thing you can get to the look of locs, next to the loc extensions. You can get loc extensions on a temporary basis, but you must becareful not to keep them in your hair to long. If you think your 85% sure that you want locs then go for the loc extensions and if you like them you just keep them and if you don't...............

I'm interested in getting the two strand twist, but I have a relaxer, can I get this style?

Yes!!

I have curly/wavy hair and I tried to loc my hair with the coil method and it became messy, Is thier another way that I can loc my hair and how long will it take my hair to loc?

They're so many ways to loc your hair, but some methods may require adding addtional hair. If you are only interested in using your own hair I would say to get your own hair two strand twisted to start your locs. Everyone has to go through a messy stage at one point in the locing process. As far as the length of time for your hair to loc depends on the texture. The kinkier the hair the faster it will loc (4-6 months), for curly, wavy or staight hair will take longer (8-12 months). Don't give up it will be worth it!

How long can I keep the two strand twist (w/extension hair) in my hair and can I wash my hair with the two strands in ?

The two strand twist can last from 2-3 months, but I would suggest to keep them in no longer than 2 1/2 months. You need to give your hair a chance to be conditioned.. Every time you take out the extension hair you should give yourself a moisture and protein treatment.. You can wash your hair with any shampoo. Try not to use a detanglizer shampoo, and absolutely no cream conditioner, instead use a liquid conditioner.
