| With my first model Shelly, she wanted to try a new hair color and hairstyle. I opted to try something a little subtle for the winter months. I dyed Shelly's locs to various shades of brown, giving her a soft and subtle highlight effect. After the color I applied the Nubian.Kinks green tea oil as a hot oil treatment for her locs. Finally her locs were set on spiral rods and she was placed under the dryer for 1 hour. Afterwards the locs were styled into place. | ||||||||||||||
| Shelly's foundation was mixed with a liquid golden highlight and blended outwards. With her new hair color I added a brown eyebrow powder to arch her eyebrows. A nude base shade was placed on the majority of the eyes and on the lower lid I used a gold dust to open her eyes. On the lips I used a light brown lip gloss. |
