For Dave's hairstyle I divided his hair into multiple parts on an angle. I twisted it inside and joined the rest of the hair into one. The ends of the hair was wrapped in a criss cross and tied together to hold the front half in place. The back half of his locs were intertwined upwards and were also tied into place. Once again no hair pins were used.
