My next model is the number one artist of the Caribbean. Ms. Alison Hinds is always on the go constantly on tour, so every chance she is in New York I try to find styles for her that is easy to maintain while she is on tour. For this look I opted to deepen Alison's light brown locs, to three shades of burgundy, copper red and brownish red. Afterwards (especially after a color process) a citrus hot oil treatment was left on Alison's locs for 20 minutes. Next her locs were spiraled set and she was placed under the dryer for one hour. The front half of Alison Hind's locs were intertwined into an elegant upsweep, without the use of hairpins. The rest of the locs were left to cascade around her shoulders. I decided to go with a soft frosty and metallic look for Alison's makeup. A deep silver eye shadow was placed on the eyelids, with the new hair color I used a soft auburn eyebrow powder. To open up Alison's eyes I used lengthy eyelashes. A pinkish/lavender lip gloss was applied to the lips with a flesh tone lip liner. Sparkle dust was applied to the entire face.
